To qualify for admission to Neuro Robotics Rehab Center, individuals must meet the following clinical guidelines:

Neurological Injury Requirement:

The patient must have sustained either:

  • An acquired brain injury (traumatic or non-traumatic), affecting the skull, brain, or brain covering, and resulting in an altered state of consciousness; or
  • A spinal cord injury, such as a lesion to the spinal cord or cauda equina syndrome.

Functional Deficits:

There must be documented evidence of significant involvement in at least two of the following functional areas:

  • (a) Motor function impairment
  • (b) Sensory dysfunction
  • (c) Cognitive impairment
  • (d) Behavioral challenges
  • (e) Bowel and bladder dysfunction

Evaluation-Only Admissions:

In cases where the medical diagnosis is unclear, symptoms do not align with the reported injury, or recovery patterns are inconsistent with expected outcomes, patients may be admitted for evaluation. This evaluation period shall not exceed 90 days.

Medical Oversight Requirement:

All admissions must be made by prescription from a licensed physician, physician assistant (PA), or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). Patients must remain under the care of one of these licensed providers throughout their stay.

Non-Admissible Diagnoses:

Neuro Robotics Rehab Center does not admit individuals whose primary diagnosis is:

  • A mental health disorder
  • An intellectual disability
  • A developmental disability
