How to Prepare for Your Inpatient Rehab Stay
At Neuro Robotics Rehab Center, we’re committed to helping you reach your maximum potential through comprehensive, patient-centered neurorehabilitation. During your stay, you’ll participate in up to five hours of therapy per day, six days a week, supported by our 24/7 nursing care and interdisciplinary team.
A Typical Day at Our Rehab Hospital
- Morning
- Your morning begins with nursing support, medication administration, and assistance with bathing or dressing as needed.
- Breakfast is served in the dining room and prepared according to your physician’s and dietitian’s guidance.
- Therapy sessions begin mid-morning; your daily therapy schedule is posted in your room the evening prior.
- Mid-Day
- Lunch is served in the dining room, based on your personalized, medically approved menu.
- Afternoon therapy continues with appropriate breaks built into your schedule.
- Nurses remain available for check-ins, medications, and support throughout the day.
- Evening
- Dinner is served in the dining room.
- Light snacks are provided later in the evening.
- Evenings are ideal for rest, family visits, and winding down for the next day.
- Our nursing staff will assist with nighttime care and help you get ready for bed.
Dining & Visitors
We encourage patients to dine in our communal dining room to promote social interaction and functional independence. Family members are welcome to join for meals and engage in the rehabilitation journey.
Visitor Guidelines:
- Visitor Limit: 1–2 guests per meal (larger groups must be coordinated through your case manager)
- Menu: Patients, staff, and guests share the same dining options
- Dining Hours:
- Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Dinner: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
What to Bring With You
To ensure comfort and safety, we recommend bringing only essential, labeled personal items, such as:
- Loose, comfortable clothing
- Sneakers or low-heeled, non-slip shoes
- Undergarments, socks, pajamas, and a robe
- Eyeglasses, hearing aids, CPAP/BiPAP device
- Personal toiletries and grooming products
- Sweater or jacket for indoor comfort
- Medications prescribed by your doctor
- Advance directives, living will, or power of attorney (POA) documents
Tip: Please leave valuables (cash, jewelry, etc.) at home for safekeeping.
